Things you see on your way to work...

I'm definitely not the only one having a hard time in the morning...

The week-end in pictures

I think those pictures summarize the week-end pretty well:
Saturday and Sunday on the road in the Great Smoky Mountains:

and Monday on campus playing ultimate and beach volley with a bunch of friends:

But you'll have to wait for the story of the week-end and all the pics because I have about 300 of them and somehow I need to work a bit ;)

Back in town…

… after 2 weeks spent sleeping in Europe, 2 hours stuck at the Customs at Hartfield and 1 hour spent looking for my bag which was waiting for me in the South Terminal instead of the North one (some people need to learn the difference between Lufthansa and Delta…). Hartfield was about to take the first place to Paris CDG Airport in the ranking of the worst aiports I landed at…
So I’m back in town and ready to move forward with my research. I’m feeling so much better. It’s amazing what 2 weeks of laziness can do for you ;) I really feel like I left a month ago… It should be a productive summer given that I’m taking only one class. I also started playing ultimate. I figured out that it will be less boring and less dangerous than softball (for those who know my tendency of stopping things with my ankle…). Plus I need exercise, especially after having spent the last weeks stuffing myself with cheese, crepes and cider ;)
So all is good in Hotlanta so far. The weather is hot but still dry and the A/C is running full time at night. I’m also happy I don't have to worry about finding a place to live and moving all my mess to a different location this year. Just have to focus on research and enjoy my time with friends. Looking forward to a great summer ;)

Freezing in Brittany

Still on vacation! I know, it's a shame... The end of the semester was pretty tough and it's good to be home and relax. It's amazing how one week spent doing nothing feels like an eternity though... Here are some pics of my first week spent in Switzerland. Hope you're doing well wherever you are.
